What you can lose, what Burly is not, and what the numbers on this site do and do not mean.
Last updated 3 Oct 2026
1. You can lose the fee
Most participants do not pass the evaluation. If your equity touches the daily loss limit or the max drawdown, the account is closed for good and the fee is not returned. The fee is the cost of the attempt. Do not pay it with money you cannot afford to lose.
2. Accounts are simulated
All Burly accounts are simulated, in the evaluation and when funded. Orders are filled by our engine against Bulk's live mainnet order book at real fees and real funding. Your orders are not routed to an exchange, and you do not manage Burly's money or anyone else's. "Funded account" means a simulated account on which Burly pays you a share of the simulated profit.
3. Payouts depend on Burly
Payouts are performance rewards paid by Burly from its own funds. They are unsecured obligations of the firm. They are not held in escrow, not guaranteed by any third party and not protected by any deposit or investor compensation scheme. "On-chain" on this site means the transfer is visible on the Solana network after it is made; it does not mean the money is locked up for you in advance.
4. Burly may trade
Burly may trade for its own account on Bulk, including by replicating the positions of funded traders. This does not change your ledger, your limits or your payouts, but it means Burly has its own interest in the market.
5. Leveraged trading is risky
Perpetual futures are leveraged and volatile. Prices can gap through a limit, in which case the breach is recorded at the equity actually observed. A simulated fill has no queue position and no market impact, so results on Burly may differ from what the same strategy would achieve with real orders. You never owe Burly anything beyond the fee.
6. Not advice, not an offer
Nothing on this site is investment, legal or tax advice, or an offer of a financial instrument. Past results of other traders, including the leaderboard, say nothing about your own. You are responsible for any tax on payouts.
7. Eligibility
The service is for adults who do not live in a restricted jurisdiction. If you cannot be verified after passing, or turn out to live in a restricted jurisdiction, no funded account is opened and the fee is not refunded. Check the Restricted jurisdictions page before you buy.
