What personal data Burly collects, why, how long it is kept and what you can ask for.

Last updated 3 Oct 2026

1. What we collect

  • Account data: your wallet address, email address, display name, pseudonym and country.
  • Verification data, only after you pass an evaluation: legal name, date of birth, country, the type of identity document and its last four characters, and the result of the check.
  • Trading data: orders, fills, positions, balances, payouts and the conduct flags raised on your accounts.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser user agent, sign-in times, session records and a random device identifier stored in a first-party cookie (app_did).
  • Payment data: the wallet that paid a fee, transaction signatures and amounts. These are public on the Solana network in any case.
  • Messages you send us.

2. Why we use it

  • To provide the service: run your account, evaluate it under the rules and pay you.
  • To meet legal duties: identity verification, sanctions screening, record keeping and tax reporting.
  • To enforce the rules: we link accounts by identity, wallet, IP address, device and payment source to detect multiple profiles, hedging between accounts, copy trading and access from restricted locations. This linkage is used for conduct enforcement and for nothing else.
  • To keep the service secure and to answer your messages.

3. What we do not do

We do not sell personal data. We do not run advertising trackers. Analytics is optional and loads only if you accept it in the cookie notice. The public leaderboard and payout list show a pseudonym, never your name or wallet.

4. Who receives it

Service providers who act on our instructions (hosting, email delivery, and identity verification and screening providers where we use them), and authorities where the law requires it. Payout transactions are public on the Solana network.

5. How long we keep it

Account, trading and payment records are kept for as long as you have an account and afterwards for the period the law requires. Market data used for fills and breaches is kept for at least 12 months so that a decision can be replayed. Verification data is kept for the legally required period after your last payout.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask for a copy of your data, for it to be corrected or deleted, for its use to be restricted, or object to its use. Some records must be kept by law and cannot be deleted on request. Write to us through the Contact page; we answer within one month.

7. Changes
