Refund policy
When the challenge fee comes back, and when it does not.
Last updated 3 Oct 2026
1. A full refund before you trade
The fee is refundable in full if you ask within 7 days of purchase and no order has ever been submitted on the account. Request it from the account page. The refund goes to the wallet that paid.
2. The fee back with your first payout
When you receive your first approved payout on a funded account, the fee you actually paid for that challenge (after any discount) is added to it. This happens once per challenge.
3. When the fee is not refunded
- Once any order has been submitted on the account, or after 7 days.
- After a breach, an expiry for inactivity, or a termination for a conduct violation.
- If a funded account cannot be activated because identity verification fails or you live in a restricted jurisdiction. Checkout asks you to confirm your eligibility for this reason.
4. If Burly closes your funded account
If we close a funded account for a reason that is not a breach or a conduct violation, you receive a final payout of all profit above the starting balance at your current split, plus the fee if no payout was ever made.
5. After a breach
A breach does not refund the fee. You receive a 15% coupon for a new challenge, valid for 7 days. If the breach is reversed on appeal, the account is reinstated rather than refunded.
6. Your statutory rights
This policy does not remove any right to withdraw or to a refund that the law of your country gives you and that cannot be waived.
